Jesus should be 1st in Everything!
Colossians 3:12-13 –We should in every relationship try to look & live like Jesus.
Colossians 3:17
In every interaction you should be able to say, “I am doing this in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
The point is, every interaction in every one of these relationships is done first & foremost to Jesus.
Colossians 3:23-24 …
- You serve the Lord Christ in every second of every day. Every single thing we do should be thought of first & foremost as an offering to Jesus.
- When you are doing your job: Colossians 3:22
- When you are responding to your wife–Colossians 3:19
- Children: Colossians 3:20
Colossians 3:23. There is not one square inch of your entire life over which Jesus does not emphatically declare MINE!
The alternative: You think of your life in BUCKETS.
Jesus IS FIRST. He WENT FIRST, so He should COME FIRST in everything!
1 Samuel 15:1-3
Important: This was not a revenge war for Israel—it was divine judgment.

- Important note: In Hebrew, the verb spared is singular even though the subjects here are plural.

To take any part of what belongs to God and act like it belongs to you is equal to worshipping the devil in God’s eyes.
God wants your surrender.
Colossians 3:17.
The question is not how religiously active you are, or how much you give, but have you surrendered everything to God?
