Last week we concluded with the thought that we are to Seek, See, and be Satisfied with GOD. But what exactly does that look like in daily life?
Isaiah 6:3 “God is wonderfully different! The whole earth is telling us that GOD is a big deal.” In other words, if you want to know how big of a deal GOD is, just look around. If you are struggling to think very much of GOD, start by staring at the world around you.
Romans 1:20. Though we can’t see GOD, we can still experience what GOD is like.
“This!” God is like this, but much better. GOD > “This!” Put into a logical conclusion: If GOD is better than anything on earth, then GOD must be even better than “This!”
“This!” is how I mentally turn god into GOD.
GOD made all of “This!” so that all of life could help you think more of GOD.
Whatever sparks a positive reaction in you is an example of “This!”
Once you get “This!”, you can get more GOD.
Challenge: Glorify GOD in a thousand little ways today.
GOD created it all so you could know Him, love Him, and think much of Him. Psalm 19:1.
Matthew 5:16. When we glorify GOD, people see what a big deal GOD is. You become “This!” for other people when they see your goodness, patience, forgiveness, compassion, selflessness, and generosity.
TRUTH: You exist to help people think the most important thought in the world–GOD!
