Topic: Repentance

Without repentance, our hearts can grow hard & will turn away from God. Sin is deceitful & will trick you into thinking you are safe to continue living however you want. If there is any relational distance between God & you due to sin, drop everything that stands in your way & restore your relationship.

There is a point where you surrender to God because you feel like you have to; then there’s a point where you start to love like God loves. You do what God does because you desire what God desires. God is not just after obedience, He’s after a whole new kind of obedience. He wants real repentance.

To consider the thought that my life knows no secrets from the penetrating eye of God may be unnerving. Yet I want to be known. I need to be known. I need God to shape my heart and renovate my spirit.
