How do you make it personal? You have to make your spiritual growth a priority. Realize that your relationship with God will become more passionate as you become more passionate about how you connect with Him.

You should stop thinking of God only as someone you fear, but as someone you can love. This should settle what you believe about the character of God forever. God keeps His promises. God can be trusted with your heart, you soul, & your strength. He is not giving you Canaan because you deserve it, or because of who you are, but because He is God.

It really doesn’t matter what our kids know if they don’t know what really matters.

What will you do with the offer of God? You know you don’t control the future. It’s in God’s hands. You know that you’re fragile. And if you apply that to the whole of life, you’re either going to remain proud or you’re going to humble yourself. What will you do with the offer of God?
