Every time you pass on by, not only do you miss an opportunity to impact someone else, but you have also missed an opportunity for God to impact you.

Even when you do not look for God, even when you do not lean into the presence of God, He is fully present. You have never been alone, because God is everywhere present. But we can pretend we are by ourselves. You can pretend you’re by yourself. And I can deny His presence. I can refuse to acknowledge it.

Many drift from God in trial rather than turn to God in trial. But know this that the purpose of trials is to mature you not to destroy you. But remember God is our spotter.

Getting divorced because you ran out of love is like selling a car because you ran out of gas. When I am in the right place with the help of God and when she is in the right place, we can be united as one flesh, and that is a marriage that honors God.

It’s not always the bad things that destroy marriages. It’s often good things that are out of place in the relationship.

Many of us get stuck in a child view of Christmas, of Christ and never really grow up through our doubts into an adult view of Christ, an adult view of Christmas. In fact, if you think Christmas is about a baby in a manger instead of a King on a throne you need to begin to doubt some more. You need to rethink Christmas. You need to engage in some honest doubt and get to the Truth.

Spiritual maturity is directly related to the length of time between hearing the Word of God and doing it.

Building your life around the goal of obeying God is a step toward religion, not relationship.
