Religion is all about us, & our efforts to please God. Relationship is about God’s perfect work in satisfying the debt for sin through Jesus. Religion is about what we do, or don’t do. Relationship is about what God did, & His perfect work.

Will you commit to pray: “God, what are You leading me to do or to believe?” Then, as you get direction from God, take the next step. Trust Him with the outcome, and you simply obey.

Does my life represent Jesus getting my first and best? Do I need to make a commitment that will change everything in my life? Does the commitment I’ve made to God say that He is important to me or that in everything He comes first?

Christ is enough! In Christ we possess the fullness of God. Christ showed the ultimate love; conquered our ultimate enemy, & now sits at the ultimate place of power. So, once you have him, you have it all.

We want a Jesus who accepts the life we like to live. We want a Jesus who blesses us with material goods. So, we shape Him into our likes. But when we form Jesus into our own image, He is not Jesus. When we make Jesus present in our image, Immanuel may become absent.

Christmas is coming to understand because of what I’ve done, I’ll never get to God. So, God came to me. He died on the cross and what He asked in return is all of me, complete ownership.

Today you will make a decision. Either I accept this, that my sin has been dealt with or I’m going to choose to go and handle my own life one way or another.

If you need a Savior, that means you are in a mess.
