What do you want MOST? Not just what do you want—WHO do you want to become?
God’s Spirit in you Helps you choose what you want most/now—which is the greater reward.

Religion is all about us, & our efforts to please God. Relationship is about God’s perfect work in satisfying the debt for sin through Jesus. Religion is about what we do, or don’t do. Relationship is about what God did, & His perfect work.

So if you need to answer the question, Is God present at my church? ask yourself the question, Are there Christ-followers at church? If there are, then Christ is there. As the church loves one another, God abides in us, & we can see & experience Christ in one another.

God’s general presence provides us with a faint memory of what no longer exists. Sin has caused our worst wound in separating us from God’s actual presence.
This is the great pain that all mankind lives with: the absence of God.

Jesus Christ changes the way we live. Christ living in us & through us should transform us from the inside out. The presence of Jesus should radically change how we relate to other people.

God’s purpose is unchangeable, His power is unchallengeable, & His love is unconditional, so there is nothing I have to fear. The Who of my salvation is greater than the who of my opposition and I am more than a conqueror.

We can hold on when we’re hurting because glory is on the way. We can trust God to work it out because we are sheltered in His grace as He works all things together to make us more like Jesus. He weaves His way & His will for His supreme glory & our ultimate good. You.

To get through your groaning, focus on the glory to come.
