Our circumstances do not shape the way we view God; God shapes the way we view our circum-stances. God is active, God is sovereign, and God is personal. And because those are true, you can have peace when circumstances seem out of control.

Whoever devotes themselves to themselves will have nothing but themselves to show for themselves. But if you devote yourself to more than yourself, you will have more than yourself to show for yourself.

The most significant opportunities of your life lie in your ability to serve the cause of Christ. Are we Sent to Lead? Maybe. Sent to Serve? Definitely.
